Privacy Rights

How U.S. users may request access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, or other privacy choices where applicable law provides those rights.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

1. Purpose of this page

This Privacy Rights page is intended for users in the United States. It is not an LGPD notice and should not be treated as the primary privacy-rights page for Brazilian users.

U.S. privacy rights vary by state and by whether a business meets specific legal thresholds. Avosi should have this page reviewed by qualified U.S. privacy counsel before publication.

2. Rights that may be available

  • Right to know or access personal information we process about you.
  • Right to request deletion of certain personal information.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.
  • Right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where those concepts apply under state law.
  • Right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable.
  • Right to appeal a denied privacy request in states that require an appeal process.

3. CCPA/CPRA conditional language

If Avosi becomes subject to CCPA/CPRA, California residents may receive additional disclosures about categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, categories of recipients, retention, sensitive personal information, sale or sharing, and rights-request methods.

Avosi should not state that it is fully CCPA/CPRA compliant until applicability, data mapping, contracts, opt-out mechanisms, and operational response workflows have been confirmed.

4. How to submit a request

You may submit a privacy request by emailing privacidade@avosi.com.br. Please identify the right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate your information and verify your identity.

For safety, we may request additional information to verify the request, especially when the request could expose information about another person or an older adult assisted by a family member or caregiver.

5. Authorized agents and caregivers

Some state privacy laws allow authorized agents to submit requests. Avosi may require proof of authorization and may also ask the user to verify the request directly when appropriate.

Caregivers and family members should respect consent, autonomy, and privacy. Helping someone use Avosi does not automatically authorize access to that person's personal information.

6. Response timing and appeals

Response timing depends on applicable law, request type, verification, and complexity. If a state law requires a specific response period or appeal mechanism, Avosi will follow that requirement when applicable.

If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason when legally permitted.

7. Non-discrimination

Where applicable law provides privacy rights, Avosi will not discriminate against users for exercising those rights. Some features may be unavailable if the requested restriction prevents us from providing the service.
