1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Avosi collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information in connection with our website, waitlist, communications, support workflows, and any related app features we make available.

This U.S. Privacy Policy is not a literal translation of our Brazilian privacy materials. It is designed for a U.S. audience and should be reviewed by qualified U.S. privacy counsel before publication.

2. Personal information we may collect

  • Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, communication preferences, and support messages.
  • Account and subscription information, such as account identifiers, plan status, app-store purchase status, consent records, and support history.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, operating system, device type, pages visited, clicks, timestamps, crash data, and approximate location derived from technical data.
  • User-provided content, such as phone questions, screen images, messages, text, audio, attachments, and feedback submitted for explanation or support.
  • Security and fraud-prevention information, such as logs, abuse signals, authentication events, suspicious activity indicators, and diagnostic data.

3. Sensitive information

Avosi is not designed to request sensitive personal information for ordinary use. However, users may voluntarily include sensitive details in screenshots, audio, messages, or support requests.

Please avoid submitting passwords, one-time codes, full payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, government ID images, precise health information, financial account details, or information about another person unless necessary and appropriate.

4. How we use personal information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Avosi.
  • Generate plain-language explanations for user-submitted questions, images, messages, or audio.
  • Manage accounts, waitlists, subscriptions, early access, customer support, and service communications.
  • Analyze product performance, accessibility, usability, and feature demand.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, harmful activity, and violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, and protect rights, safety, and security.

5. AI processing

Avosi may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to interpret user-submitted content and generate responses. Depending on configuration, some information may be processed by third-party AI, cloud, infrastructure, or analytics providers.

We aim to minimize unnecessary data shared with service providers and to use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and service.

6. How we share personal information

We may share personal information with service providers that help us provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, databases, analytics, security, support, communications, app-store billing, payments, and AI processing.

We may also share information if required by law, legal process, security needs, fraud investigation, business transfers, protection of rights, or with your direction or consent.

7. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure performance, understand usage, secure the service, and improve content. More detail is available in our Cookie Policy.

8. U.S. state privacy laws

Depending on where you live and whether Avosi meets applicable legal thresholds, certain U.S. state privacy laws may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain uses of personal information.

If Avosi is not yet subject to a specific state privacy law threshold, we may still evaluate and respond to privacy requests as a matter of good practice when reasonably possible.

9. CCPA/CPRA notice if applicable

If and when Avosi is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents may have additional rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, access categories of personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive personal information uses, and not be discriminated against for exercising rights.

At this stage, Avosi should confirm with U.S. counsel whether CCPA/CPRA applies based on revenue, data volume, data-sharing practices, and other thresholds before publishing final California-specific disclosures.

10. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Avosi, support users, meet legal and operational needs, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Retention periods may vary by data type and context.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should protect their devices, accounts, passwords, and one-time codes.

12. Children

Avosi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can evaluate and delete it where appropriate.

13. International data transfers

Avosi may process information in Brazil, the United States, or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction, but we aim to use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
